For many of us, it would be good to remember the saying from this picture in our own environment -- What Happens in School Stays in School.  Being aware of the requirements of FERPA and the need to keep student information confidential is an important aspect of teacher professionalism.  Each school year there are unintentional (and unfortunately, maybe intentional) mistakes that are made that could lead to reprimands or even removal of school staff.  The information contained on this web site will serve as a refresher of FERPA requirements and provide some hints about student confidentiality.
